Good morning, Monsters,
In honor of It’s Gonna Be May, Neon our master of Mayish ceremony has started a dance studio on level 2 (he took over the orcs workout room. he’s quite charming but even that surprised me.) If you are looking to learn how to dance, and then subsequently enter into a dance battle competition that Neon is also hosting you can sign up at Neon’s table in the Great Hall. I have agreed to be a judge at the battle. I was invited to open the competition, but i’m still pondering that.
In other Dungeon news, there’s a bad batch of brown health potions going around. Don’t drink them. Leave them for the inevitable “adventurer” breach we have this year.
VIVA LA DUNGEON KICKSTARTER
I’ve talked to two different printer partners for getting the game printed and assembled in America, I’m waiting on their quotes.
Why couldn’t Viva be a new American classic? Accept only magic, baby.
Tonight’s game of Viva is going to be a feast of the original Greedmaw art for this level including a completely brand new piece. If you remember a certain season finale involving a rightfully and righteously husband defending the honor of his wife and beating down all those who came to wreak havoc upon his home, then you may know who’s been added to the roster of bad ass monster art for Level 5.
I’ll talk about the new art next week, but we have plenty of great monster art to show off within the context of the board games Random Encounter cards (I’m shooting for square cards for the Encounters this time.) Like this fella here…

There will be 12 new Encounters introduced per level, featuring the creatures and characters of the levels. Most encounters have 1-2 challenges that you must choose between before you roll. A challenge with an asterisk rewards you with a Common Magic Item, and of course if you lose, you get a tasty d6 of damage courtesy of your new snuggle bug, Allac.
Onda other things, there will also be mushrooms tonight. Tokens brought by bombs that will offer permanent stat boosts. We are going to try them out, and I’ll tell you how the worked out next week.
May your paths never lie in an Allaconda hunting ground,
Cheers, Lich
