Good morning, monsters,
I checked out Scarey Grant’s set on level three last week, and I’m big enough to admit his impersonation of me was funny. I laughed so loud I may have popped a rune. What really amazes me though is the stuff you guys think I get up to in my Doom. All of it was ridiculous, and that’s the point, I know. But some of it, I was like…should I? Ha! I’m kidding. I won’t be having foam parties with Gordidag the Immolator.*
Kobolds! Lend me your ears. Viva La Dungeon Season 16 is coming to Level eight. We don’t have exact dates yet which actually works out for you! The Kobold Bazaar Association will be formally announcing a stimulus package approved by yours truly, that will fund the building of the first Kobold Bazaar on level eight. We’re just waiting on OSAID** to get back from her spring sojourn. What would you barter? Would you offer goods and services? Or entertainment?
Whatever it is, when Viva arrives, your stall in the Kobold Bazaar will be smack dab in the middle of the Dungeon’s biggest event. Viva La Dungeon!
* He’s not as fun as he sounds. I’d rather foam with Dimpy.
** Oh Sh*&T It’s a Dragon. that’s her name. I didn’t name her, it just stuck.
VIVA LA DUNGEON CROWDFUNDING
Guess whose Viva La Dungeon “Promotional Tournament Editions” have arrived!
I think moving to a square card format for the Random Encounter cards was the exact way to go. Here’s a couple of them with a banana for scale.

I love the way the character stands look!

And in case you think that’s an AI banana…Lich for reality scale.

We are going to take some pics with better lighting but here is a decent one of the board and pieces.

These game pieces were manufactured by The Game Crafter.com, based out Wisconsin. I’ve been using them for over a decade I think now. Yea, like 12 years at least.
To be completely candid, writing the above three lines sparked an idea.
I have some big news to announce next week, and possibly getting Viva much earlier than I planned, and you thought, could be part of that news.
Just from writing this email!
Gotta do the research now.
In adjacent news, and if you stayed this long, you deserve a deep cut.
I need to re-work and re-send my Request for Quote to a few companies. Due to my own haste, I was given the opportunity to learn a lesson. That is always welcome.
But the time in between has given me some new perspective.
I’ve been working on something that I feel is the most important next step. The littlest big bang for Viva La Dungeon. That may or not land depending on how well my idea truly works. I think the idea is bang cool regardless though and I am going to share it next week.
(along with a brand new RFQ, because we have lessons to apply. and a game to get funded.)
Accept only magic,
Lich
